Thousands of new registration certificates in many different industries are issued every year. Hundreds of these horses are indistinguishable when using only color, markings, age and sex. Permanent identification using freeze marking can solve this problem for all breeds of horses.

Freeze marking is permanent, unalterable and painless way to identify each horse as an individual. It can be applied either under the mane or on the other side of the neck, depending on the preference of the owner. Only specially trained and licensed technician can apply the mark. Accurate records are kept on each and every horse identified in the United States and around the world.

Since each horse within a particular breed has a different registration number, no two animals will have the same freeze mark. This makes positive identification of the horse possible for the horse’s lifetime, and the freeze mark will never fade away or change. The owner is provided with a tamper-proof card for each horse marked and this card can be invaluable should the need arise to prove ownership of a particular animal.
