"The Alpha-Angle Horse Identification System"

If you have purchased a horse who has a freeze mark, or your contact information has changed, please get in touch with us so we can update your horses file.

When having your horses identified, be sure the technician is legitimate.  Ask for their photo ID and check our Website to be sure they are listed.

Want a job working with horses and traveling?  We have openings for technicians!

Thousands of new registration certificates in many different registries are issued every year.  Hundreds of these horses are indistinguishable when using only color, coat patterns, age and sex.  Permanent identification using freeze marking can solve this problem for all breeds of horses.

Freeze marking is an individual, visible, permanent, unalterable and painless way to identify each horse.  It can be applied to either side of the neck depending on the preference of the owner, however it is advisable to put it outside the mane.  Only specially trained and licensed technicians can apply the mark.

Hard files and a computer database is kept on each and every horse identified in the United States.   As horses are sold, or the location of the horse and owner have moved, the files will be updated as we receive the information.  A tamper-proof card for horse owners for each horse marked is available, and this card can be invaluable should the need arise to prove ownership.
